This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. You will be required to cover variable days and weekends to meet business needs. We are looking for someone to work with the management team to create and deliver a short, medium, and long-term services strategy.
Main duties of the job
The key responsibilities of the Theatre Practitioner will be to focus on patient centric care, participating in the entire pathways for all patients from pre-admission, surgery, and post-operative management. If you are a registered nurse or operating department practitioner, we can provide training and professional development to benefit your career. You will be an experienced Theatre Practitioner undertaking preoperative assessment, diagnostics testing, and theatre scrub under AfPP good practice guidance. Ideally you will have proven experience as a Scrub Practitioner in Ophthalmic theatres, however our clinical education team can provide training and mentorship for your transition into working within our ophthalmic / cataract surgical centres.
