Main duties of the job
As a Registered Psychologist youll work alongside colleagues from Psychiatry, Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Social Work to provide high quality care. The Psychologist we are looking for will be experienced in assessment and formulation to help determine the treatment needs of individual service users.
- Deliver staff training and facilitate reflective practice sessions to support clinical excellence across the service.
- Complete psychological risk assessments and contribute to effective risk management planning.
- Provide evidence-based individual and group interventions tailored to the needs of the patient population.
- Receive peer support and supervision from an established and supportive psychology team based at Llanarth Court.
- Use a creative and compassionate approach to enhance the quality of life and recovery outcomes of service users.
- Support individuals as they progress through their recovery journey and move towards less restrictive environments.
