Job summary

As a Ophthalmic scrub nurse/practitioner, youll play a vital role across the patient pathway, delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care.

You will:

  • Act as a scrub practitioner primarily for all ophthalmic procedures
  • Prepare operating ophthalmic lists, instruments and consumables in accordance with aseptic standards
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centred care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient journeys.
  • Contribute to clinical audits, research, and service development initiatives.
  • Support safe, efficient theatre operations and optimal use of resources.
  • Help create a positive, empathetic environment for patients, colleagues, and visitors

Job description

Location: The McIndoe Centre, East Grinstead

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (4 days a week 8am to 6pm)

Salary: up to £42,198.00 per annum, depending on experience
