Job summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our clinical team; someone with excellent communication skills, a strong sense of empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Pattern -Conversations around flexible working, compressed hours or alternative hours are encouraged.

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Main duties of the job

You will be conducting routine NHS Health Checks and Long Term Conditions Reviews for our patients living with long term conditions.

About the Candidate

Attention to detail, a willingness to learn and a commitment to providing high quality patient care are essential in this role.

Our practice spans three sites across Milton Keynes, so the successful applicant will need their own transport.

Job description

You will be seeing patients with long term health conditions, such as asthma, diabetes or arthritis, and asking questions regarding their lifestyle and habits.

You will be discussing their diet, alcohol consumption, smoking habits and exercise habits.

You will also accurately record their height, weight and blood pressure.

Depending on a patients condition, or conditions, you may be asking a wider range of questions.

You would also assist in any other duties as required.
