Main duties of the job
Libertatem Healthcare Group is offering an opportunity for experienced and dedicated Spinal Injury Support Workers to join a new client in Cardiff. Candidates will work on a 2:1 ratio during sleeping night shifts to support client independence and lifestyle. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care such as washing, dressing, and toileting, catheter and bowel management, respiratory management, autonomic dysreflexia management, meal preparation, administering medication, providing emotional support and companionship, supporting mobility, and light housekeeping duties. The shifts are zero-hour contracts with variations including day shifts from 8am-8pm or sleeping night shifts from 8pm-8am. The role requires confidence, empathy, and the capability to build strong, trusting relationships with clients, ensuring their independence and lifestyle are well supported.

What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience within a similar role, supporting clients with Spinal Injury, catheter care and bowel management
- A caring and compassionate nature
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A valid UK driving licence essential to drive the WAV during shifts essential (25 year olds + due to insurance)
