He has a catheter and requires daily support with bowel management, cough assist and nebulisers, plus monitoring for signs of autonomic dysreflexia. To support his independence, were seeking support workers who are confident, empathetic, and capable of building a strong, trusting relationship, with previous Spinal Injury experience. Key Responsibilities:Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, catheter and bowel management)Preparing meals and supporting with nutritionAdministering medication and supporting with cough assist and nebulisers (training provided)Providing emotional support and companionshipSupporting with moving and handlingLight housekeeping duties What Were Looking For:Previous experience within a similar role

  • Previous experience within a similar role, supporting clients with high level spinal cord injury with complex needs.
  • Experience with catheter care, bowel management and/or knowledge of Autonomic Dysreflexia.
  • A valid UK driving licence essential to drive during shift.
  • A caring and compassionate nature
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
