Job summary
What You'll Be Doing:
This varied and influential role will see you working closely with senior leaders and trustees to deliver an effective board secretariat function, maintain governance records, coordinate board and committee activity, support regulatory submissions and provide first-class executive support to the Chief Executive and Board.
- Leading and coordinating board and committee governance, including meeting schedules, papers, minutes and action tracking.
- Supporting the Chair, Chief Executive, Trustees and Executive Team with governance processes, board development and decision-making.
- Maintaining the Board Assurance Framework, decision registers, delegated authority records and governance documentation.
- Acting as a key point of contact for regulatory and statutory matters, including liaison with the Charity Commission, Companies House and legal representatives.
- Managing executive support activities, including diary and meeting management, key projects and oversight of the Executive Support Office.
- Line managing colleagues within the Executive Support Office, supporting performance, development and effective team working.

As Head of Corporate Affairs and Executive Support, you will provide high-quality advice and support across board governance, corporate governance, regulatory compliance and executive administration. You will be trusted to manage sensitive information, coordinate key governance processes and act as a professional ambassador for Horder Healthcare.
