About us
The Lighthouse Group Practice is a friendly, forward-thinking GP training practice providing care to approximately 13,500 patients across two sites: Southsea Medical Centre and Devonshire Avenue Surgery. We have been an established training practice since 2008 and are proud to support the development of the next generation of GPs.
As an active member of a progressive Primary Care Network serving around 44,000 patients, and with a well-established Integrated Neighbourhood Team (INT), we work collaboratively to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
Our future is equally exciting, with a new purpose-built medical centre at Bransbury Park due to open in late 2027, replacing our Devonshire Avenue site and providing modern facilities for patients and staff.
Based in the vibrant coastal city of Portsmouth, we offer an excellent work-life balance, with beaches, the South Downs National Park, and direct rail links to London all within easy reach.
