Main duties of the job

The role of an Operational Trainer at Barchester is essential in maintaining the high standard of care for which the company is known. Operational Trainers are responsible for the delivery of training and development programs across a specific region covering approximately five care homes or hospitals. This position involves a home-based setup with necessary travel within the region. Trainers are expected to ensure that all employees are well-equipped, confident, and competent in their roles. Trainers will be in charge of planning and coordinating induction and training, maintaining training records, and providing continuous support to new employees, ensuring they are embraced into the Barchester family.
