Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Research Practitioner (CRP) to join the Hammersmith & Fulham Partnership Research Unit. We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual with previous experience delivering clinical research and a current Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP) certification to support our growing portfolio of commercial and non-commercial research studies.
This is an on-site role.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary research team delivering Phase IIIV clinical trials and observational studies across a wide range of therapeutic areas within primary care. The post holder will undertake delegated clinical and research activities, ensuring studies are conducted safely, efficiently and in compliance with ICH-GCP, the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research, study protocols and local Standard Operating Procedures.
Job description

The post holder will undertake delegated clinical and research activities, ensuring studies are conducted safely, efficiently and in compliance with ICH-GCP, the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research, study protocols and local Standard Operating Procedures.
Key Responsibilities Deliver research studies in accordance with approved study protocols, ICH-GCP and local SOPs.
Coordinate and independently conduct protocol-specific study visits within delegated responsibilities.
Identify, screen and recruit eligible participants.
Support the informed consent process where delegated.
Perform venepuncture, ECGs, vital signs, anthropometric measurements, point-of-care testing and biological sample collection/processing.
Maintain accurate source documentation and complete paper/electronic CRFs.
Document and report adverse events, serious adverse events and protocol deviations.
Support sponsor monitoring visits, audits and MHRA inspections.
Work collaboratively with investigators, research pharmacists, research nurses, GPs, sponsors and CROs.
Maintain participant confidentiality and promote participant-centred care.
Contribute to SOP development, quality improvement and service development.
Maintain competency through continuing professional development.
