We are looking for an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing Therapeutic Services team, supporting children and young people aged 816 years who are receiving Education Otherwise Than At School (EOTAS) provision as part of their Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

This is a 22.5 day per week position for the full academic year, starting in September.

Main duties of the job

About You

You will be HCPC registered and have experience working with children and young people with:

  • Autism
  • Sensory processing differences
  • Learning disabilities
  • Mental health needs
  • Challenging behaviours

You'll be confident undertaking assessments, delivering evidence-based interventions and contributing to EHCP provision. You will have experience supporting children to develop functional, sensory, motor and self-regulation skills to enable them to access education and achieve meaningful outcomes.

Flexibility to travel throughout West Sussex is essential.

Successful candidates will also complete Children and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) training, fully funded as part of the role.
