Main duties of the job
We are looking for Support Worker for our Services in Colsterworth just 8 miles from Grantham. This is a unique service offering supporting living, enabling people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and local community. We are looking for support workers to join our amazing team, and to continue delivering outstanding outcomes. As part of your day-to-day work, you will encourage people to play active roles in their communities, enhancing independence. Your role will involve supporting daily activities, personal care, social activities, meal planning, and budgeting. Effective communication, motivational engagement, and accurate record-keeping are vital. Teamwork and initiative are key as you support individuals with complex needs, including Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Mental Health challenges. Previous experience is beneficial, and we offer full-time, part-time, and bank positions.

Supporting Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.

Engaging - promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life
Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches
Recording - keeping accurate records &reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management
