Work as a team player, but have the ability to lone work when needed, effectively managing your time. Offer support, communication and engagement to the residents.

A high standard of cleanliness must be maintained in the kitchen area, with good levels of hygiene. You'll work as a team player but should also have the ability to lone work when needed. Offering support, communication, and engagement to the residents is an important part of the role. Opportunities are available for those who want to work a combination of shift times, and the role includes a flexible rota.

A day in the life of a Kitchen Assistant

About You

You don't have to have worked in care before, a previous role in a different catering environment is great for someone willing to learn. We'd like you to have some prior knowledge of food safety and COSHH. You will be a caring, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who is able to show empathy to the needs of others.
