Main duties of the job

The role of a Home Carer involves supporting people with their daily routines, including household tasks and personal care. This also includes helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, making a comforting cup of tea, providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation, and assisting with medication. Above all, this position requires someone kind, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about helping others. Previous care experience or qualifications are not necessary; if you have the right attitude and a caring nature, the rest can be taught. Essential attributes include a warm, caring, and compassionate approach to supporting others, strong people skills, the ability to build meaningful relationships, and a supportive, professional, and team-focused mindset. A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK is required, along with a full UK driving licence and flexibility to work alternating weekends.
