GP wanted for friendly, highly respected practice in mid-Cornwall.
We are looking for a salaried GP to join our great team, for 3-4 sessions per week, job share, and flexible working considered, with family-friendly sessions included.
Main duties of the job
Core Clinical ResponsibilitiesThe GP will share responsibility for the practice workload, including:
- Face-to-face and remote consultations.
- Duty Doctor sessions.
- Responding to patient and healthcare professional queries.
- Home visits where appropriate and agreed.
- Managing their own referrals, investigations, results, and patient correspondence.
Administrative DutiesThe GP is expected to:
- Process clinical correspondence and scanned documents.
- Review and sign prescriptions.
- Manage test results and patient-related tasks.
- Complete referrals and associated paperwork arising from their clinical work.
Quality and Contractual RequirementsResponsibilities include:
- Supporting Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) requirements.
- Ensuring accurate clinical coding and use of templates (e.g., Arden's).
- Following protocols relating to data collection and chargeable NHS/private services to ensure appropriate reimbursement to the practice.

- Primary Care Network (PCN) multidisciplinary meetings.
Clinical workload may be adjusted when attendance is required.
