  • You will have the support of the theatre coordinator, and your team leads and an experienced hospital senior leadership team.
  • The Theatre Manager will encourage, develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of others and self.
  • You will ensure that Clinical Governance and Risk management are embedded within daily practice and promote excellence.
  • Build effective controls to ensure the Department's Key Performance Indicator and financial targets are achieved to contribute to the hospital strategy, business plan and growth.

Spire St Anthony's Hospital is looking for a Theatre Manager to join their dedicated team. This role is ideally suited to a dynamic, motivated, and inspirational leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

As Theatre Manager, you will lead by example, driving excellence in patient care, developing a high-performing team, and ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of theatre services across a busy department.

Our multispecialty unit will give you the opportunity to expand your skills and expertise. We have six operating theatres covering a wide range of specialities and procedures including Ortho, Gynae, Cardio-thoracic and many other surgical specialties.

Founded in 1904, Spire St Anthony's Hospital delivers care through skilled and dedicated staff working together. With a completed £27m development investment, we provide very high quality healthcare to patients around Sutton, Epsom, Surrey and South London. Who we're looking for:

  • HCPC or NMC Registered - with no restrictions or conditions on practise
  • Have evidence of management and leadership experience in a Senior Theatre position such as Lead or Deputy.
  • Have strong clinical background and orthopaedic experience.
  • You will be highly motivated and used to working in challenging but rewarding environment.
  • Compassionate and able to showcase excellent patient care with strong communication skills.
  • Experience in undertaking staff performance management, appraisals and team development.
  • Expert knowledge of clinical standards, AfPP guidelines and CQC domains & requirements.
  • Passion and commitment to running an outstanding service.
  • It would be advantageous to have experience of independent sector working.
