Main duties of the job

As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Clinical Practitioner at Operose Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality primary care services. Your main responsibilities include providing care for patients from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care. You'll work closely with the general practice team to meet patients' needs, supporting policy delivery, and providing nurse leadership when required. We are looking for candidates with experience in a Primary Care setting, registered with NMC as a nurse, and working towards a non-medical prescriber qualification. A minor injury and illness qualification is essential. Additionally, being a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner or having MSc accreditation in ACP status will be advantageous.

Main Responsibilities: As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:

  • Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
  • You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice.
  • You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.

Ideal Candidate: What we look for in new colleagues:

  • Experience in a Primary Care setting.
  • NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice tor working towards non-medical prescriber.
  • Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care
  • It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.
