Job summary

To provide a high-quality, comprehensive and professional administrative service in support of the Cardiac Information Team. The post holder will support the day-to-day running of the team by undertaking a range of administrative duties, including first-line support for information systems, data entry and validation, and managing incoming requests via the call logging system.

Main duties of the job

Smooth running of the service.

Act as first-line support for Cardiac Information systems, responding to and logging queries, escalating issues where appropriate.

Manage and monitor the call logging system, ensuring requests are accurately recorded, prioritised and progressed in a timely manner.

Undertake routine and ad-hoc data entry, validation and maintenance of cardiac audit and clinical datasets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Support the team with the preparation, submission and maintenance of audit data in line with national and local requirements.

Assist with general office administration tasks, including managing shared inboxes, filing, document management and maintaining records.

Liaise with clinical staff, internal teams and external stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.

Support the team in meeting deadlines and service objectives by prioritising workload effectively.

Maintain confidentiality and information governance standards at all times, in line with Trust policies.

Contribute to service improvement by identifying issues with processes or data quality and reporting these to the team.
