Job summary
This post is for a Trust Doctor to help cover gaps in the middle grade staffing due to a shortfall in registrar numbers. This is a full time post with resident on-call. Neonatal cover is provided separately. The job will include working on the Children's Assessment Unit, participating in ward rounds and providing cover for the in-patient wards. Supervision of more junior colleagues will be expected. There is no regular out-patient commitment in this post. The Consultants provide a consultant of the week service so close team working with both junior and senior colleagues will be required.
