An exciting opportunity has arisen for a caring, compassionate and enthusiastic Band 5 Paediatric Staff Nurse to join our Emergency Department at DBTH. Our Emergency Department offers a supportive and forward-thinking environment where professional development is actively encouraged. We are looking for individuals who can bring existing paediatric nursing knowledge and skills to the team while continuing to develop their expertise within emergency care.We are seeking motivated and committed paediatric nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality care to children and young people in a dynamic emergency care environment. This role is ideally suited to nurses who are confident in their paediatric practice, demonstrate sound clinical judgement, and are keen to further develop their skills within a specialist area.As part of our dedicated paediatric emergency team, you will work alongside experienced colleagues who are committed to delivering outstanding care and supporting ongoing professional development. Main duties of the job

The Emergency Department is forward thinking and has a supported learning environment so that you will be able to build on your existing nursing skills for your future career and development.

As a Staff Nurse within the Emergency Department, you will be a valued member of the multidisciplinary team, providing safe, effective and compassionate care to children, young people and their families. You will be encouraged to contribute ideas, support innovation, and play an active role in maintaining high standards of patient care.
