Main duties of the job

By joining Lancashire Teaching Hospitals, you'll become part of a dedicated team covering anaesthetics & Recovery and the opportunity to rotate to other specialities

We're looking for Anaesthetic & Recovery Practitioners who are passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, adaptable to a fast-paced environment, and excited to embrace new challenges.

As a valued team member,you'llalso play a crucial role in supporting and mentoring future healthcare professionals, helping shape the next generation of theatre experts.

Main duties of the job

To support the Team Leaders in the day to day efficient running of the clinical area by providing excellent peri-op care to Patients by maintaining standards of care and professional practice.

Be responsible for assisting in the planning, delivery and evaluation of care to meet the personalised Health and wellbeing needs of patients in line with the Trust Values / HCPC and NMC professional frameworks.

Ensure the productive operation of the clinical area by ensuring that a well organised and safeenvironment is maintained.

Act as a strong role model and encourage and support the professional development of self and others. Provide clinical supervision and direction for all colleagues and students to support them in reaching their full potential.

You must be a registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with scrub experience in Orthopaedic surgery ready to work with a motivated, enthusiastic team
