Job summary

We are looking for a Salaried GP to join our friendly, well-established and high-performing Partnership for between 4 and 6 sessions per week.

You will have considerable clinical autonomy while being supported by an experienced and approachable multidisciplinary team, enabling you to concentrate on providing excellent care for your patients.

We are committed to continually improving our services and developing our team. For the right candidate, there may also be an opportunity to progress towards Partnership in the future.

We offer a competitive salary from approximately £11,000 per session per annum, depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

As part of our GP team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care to our registered patients.

Working with a high degree of clinical autonomy, you will assess, investigate, diagnose, treat and refer patients, making appropriate clinical decisions and ensuring that care is safe, effective and responsive to individual needs.

You will work collaboratively with our GPs, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and wider multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support positive outcomes for patients.

You will also contribute to clinical meetings, shared learning, quality improvement and the continued development of our services.

Job description

The post-holder will provide high-quality, patient-centred medical care to registered patients, managing a varied clinical caseload across the full range of health needs encountered in general practice.

Working both autonomously and as part of the wider multidisciplinary team, the post-holder will assess, investigate, diagnose, treat and refer patients as appropriate, ensuring that care is safe, effective and well coordinated.

The role also includes the timely completion of clinical records and all associated administrative work, including reviewing results, correspondence, referrals and reports.
