Main duties of the job
As a Food and Beverage Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dining service and assisting residents with their meals. Your duties will include helping residents with meal choices, ensuring dining tables are set to standard operating procedures, keeping the dining area clean and tidy, and ensuring homemade cakes, biscuits, and fresh fruit are available throughout the day. Ideal candidates must demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene, possess experience in a similar setting, and have a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. This role requires compassion and a commitment to the delivery of excellent culinary services to residents.

ABOUT THE ROLEYour focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member is to support the dining service and assist residents with their meals.Other responsibilities will include: Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options when dining. Ensuring that the standard operating procedures set dining tables. Keeping the front of the house clean, tidy, and well-presented and ensuring dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day. Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and replenished throughout the day, as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
