Healthcare Assistant/Spire London East/Bank Ad-Hoc Shifts Spire London East Hospital has an exciting opportunity for Healthcare Assistant to join the Bank Team. Duties and responsibilities: To assist the multi-disciplinary team to provide exemplary care in a variety of hospital settings.

  • Undertake routine tasks related to individual's health and well being
  • Assess the health and wellbeing needs of people whose needs are relatively stable and consistent.
  • Establish and maintain communication with people on routine care matter
  • Develop own and others' personal development.
  • Monitor and maintain health and safety and security for self and others
  • Contribute to the implementation of services
  • Ensure own actions promote quality
  • Promote people's equality, diversity and rights
  • Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI.

Who we're looking for:

  • NVQ Health Awards level 3 competence
  • Experience of planning work and acting under own initiative
  • Patient/customer facing experience
  • Working as part of a team
  • Awareness of health safety and hygiene and infection control
  • Possess the mandatory training requirements for role including infection control and health and safety competencies.
  • Possess Equipment and Medical Devices Competences
  • Computer literate and trained in Microsoft Office
  • English language to IELTS 7.0
