Job summary
Are you a resilient Occupational Therapist with demonstrable post qualification experience, who is keen to take on the challenges older adult mental health groups face?
We are recruiting for a full time Occupational Therapist to join our specialist Crisis and Home Treatment team based in Oxford. You'll provide assessment and evidence-based treatment interventions to a wide range of adults across Oxfordshire.

Working countywide, we focus on the recovery of patients through a multidisciplinary (MDT) approach, with expertise from doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, support workers, peer support worker and psychological therapies staff alongside daily clinical team meetings. We strive to provide person centred evidence-based care to patients and prioritise working collaboratively with their families and carers.
The CMHT is a wonderful team to work in and this role offers an opportunity to develop senior clinical and leadership skills. The Management team are committed to the wellbeing and development of the staff working in the team. Main duties of the job

The responsibilities of the role include:
- Work as an autonomous practitioner in the multi-disciplinary team undertaking specialist Occupational Therapy assessments in collaboration with the service user and their families/carers and presenting back to the wider MDT. Also supporting MDT tasks.
- Work in partnership with service users and their families/carers to ensure the development of a care plan and treatment plan to facilitate their safety, promote their well-being and support their independence and inclusion in the community.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions following NICE guidelines to promote recovery and relapse prevention in a variety of settings.
You will be supported by an experienced leadership team from across the professions, including OT Clinical Leads, who facilitate forums for Occupational Therapists and hold your development as a priority. We offer regular supervision and you will be encouraged and supported to undertake any training relevant to your professional development.
