Main duties of the job

As a Ward Staff Nurse, you will: Be flexible, motivated, an excellent communicator and team worker Join a close-knit team headed by our matron on our consultant-led ward Fully understand and pay close attention to each patient's needs Work directly with some of the best clinical talent around Gain valuable experience of new practices, equipment and facilities Collaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient care. Day ward: Our newly opened day ward comprises of minor procedures such as- Cataract surgery Endoscopy Minor local anaesthetic procedures Pain clinics. Varicose vein surgery.

You're registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC. With post-registration experience, you're a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care. As a Ward Staff Nurse, you will:

• Gain valuable experience of new practices, equipment and facilities

Day ward: Our newly opened day ward comprises of minor procedures such as-

• Cataract surgery
• Endoscopy
• Minor local anaesthetic procedures
• Pain clinics.
• Varicose vein surgery.

It is open Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and occasional Saturdays. You will be expected to cover a variety of shift patterns across these hours to meet the needs of the ward. Helping you feel good.
