Job summary
Are you an excellent communicator with a passion for healthcare? Were seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable administrator to be part of our Neighbourhood Mental Health Team in Worcester.
This role is 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
In this important role, you'll use your knowledge, experience & expertise to provide essential support to our hard-working frontline NHS teams. A passion for excellent patient care is a must.
You need to be Educated to vocational level 3 in Business Administration.
Or
Educated to vocational level 2 with NHS administrative experience and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 3 qualification on appointment to post
You will be a strong communicator supporting a wide range of people including patients and health care professionals. You will need to be responsive and adaptable to the needs of the service but be sure that your hard work will be making a real difference to our patients and service users every day.

Main duties of the job
A typical day as an administrator may involve:
Maintaining patient records effectively and accurately
General office duties such as typing, scanning, photocopying, printing
Scheduling appointments/ minuting meetings
Handling correspondence ingoing/outgoing mail
Handling queries over the telephone and face to face from staff, patients, and external agencies
Looking after the shared email inbox
Assisting the team with various administrative tasks
Performance related tasks
Supervising staff
