Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire (Hybrid Working)

Oxford Pharmacy Store (OPS) is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Quality Management System Lead to oversee and continuously improve our Quality Management System (QMS).

Working closely with the Head of Quality, Responsible Person, Lead Pharmacy Technician and Senior Management Team, you will ensure robust Good Distribution Practice (GDP) compliance, quality assurance and operational resilience across OPS. You will lead quality improvement initiatives, maintain key quality processes and support a culture of continuous improvement.

About You

You will have recognised quality management qualifications (or equivalent experience) and recent, demonstrable experience of managing quality systems within a regulated environment. You will be confident working independently, using your initiative to manage priorities and deliver objectives with minimal supervision.

What We Offer

This is a varied and rewarding role offering a blend of office and home working. Based in Banbury, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on quality, compliance and service excellence within a growing pharmacy operation.

Main duties of the job

They will be responsible for ensuring that quality workflows, records, actions, escalations, dashboards, document control processes, audit findings and quality metrics are effectively maintained, monitored and utilised to support operational oversight, compliance and informed decision-making.

A key aspect of the role is driving a culture of continuous improvement through the effective use of quality data and operational insights. The post holder will analyse trends and identify opportunities for improvement using information from audits, deviations, CAPA, change controls, complaints, returns, temperature excursions, supplier performance, risk registers and staff feedback. Working collaboratively with stakeholders across OPS, they will implement improvement initiatives that strengthen compliance, enhance operational efficiency, reduce recurring quality issues and deliver measurable improvements in patient safety, service quality and customer experience.
