Completing routine safety and compliance inspections, including checks on fire safety, water systems, emergency lighting, equipment, and other essential services. Carrying out general repairs and maintenance, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, decorating, and building work. Training and supporting new maintenance colleagues in statutory checks and maintenance procedures. Communicating with Estates Managers regarding completed works, compliance requirements, and site updates.

ABOUT YOUWe're looking for someone who is practical, reliable, and confident working independently across multiple locations.

You will have:

  • Experience in general building maintenance or a trade-related environment.
  • Working knowledge of health and safety procedures, including manual handling and COSHH.
  • Practical skills across a range of maintenance disciplines such as plumbing, carpentry, decorating, and basic electrical work.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • A flexible approach and willingness to travel extensively, including occasional overnight stays.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and work on your own initiative.
  • A full UK driving licence.
