As a Assistant Manager, youll play a key role in leading and coordinating a team to deliver safe, effective and high-quality care. Youll support the manager and act as a role model, always ensuring best practice and a positive team culture.

Youll:

  • Promote independence and help individuals achieve personal goals
  • Ensure high-quality, person-centred care is consistently delivered
  • Support with care planning, risk assessments and compliance
  • Provide personal care and support with health and wellbeing
  • Monitor quality, safety and regulatory standards

Chippings is a 6-bed residential service supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy and visual impairment. The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills and achieve their personal goals.

People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, including going bowling, trampolining and walking in the park helping them to stay engaged, active and connected.

What Were Looking For

Essential:

  • Understanding of learning disabilities, autism, ABI or mental health needs
  • Knowledge of person-centred care and safeguarding practices
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A positive, resilient and proactive approach
  • Passion for delivering high-quality care and leading by example

Desirable:

  • NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Social Care
  • Experience with electronic care planning or rostering systems
  • Understanding of CQC and regulatory requirements
