Job summary
Herefordshire and Worcestershire Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) provides specialist mental health support for children and young people with moderate to severe mental health needs. The service delivers both face-to-face and video-conference assessments and interventions across four sites within the county
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Administrator/ Receptionist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dedicated and supportive service that plays a vital role in ensuring children, young people, families, and professionals receive timely and appropriate access to CAMHS support

Main duties of the job
What you'll be doing:
Providing a high-quality administrative service within the CAMHS team
Liaising with clinicians, families, and external agencies
Contributing to the smooth, effective running of the admin office
Cover reception when required

Previous administrative experience (NHS or similar setting beneficial)
Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative
Undertake reception and administration duties that are specific to the role.
Provide administrative support as required, for example typing/word processing, data inputting, filing, scanning/copying in line with Trust Policies and Procedures.
Answer/deal with both face-to-face and telephone enquiries.
Deal with incoming and outgoing mail.
Communication and Liaison
Liaise and interact with service users and colleagues, as and when required.
Answer/deal with both face-to-face and telephone enquiries in a tactful and professional manner, recording any messages accurately and passing them to the relevant individual in an appropriate and timely manner.
Obtain and retrieve records, as requested, liaising with patients, staff, health professionals or outside agencies.
