Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Hampshire and Isle of Wight NHS Foundation Trust (HIOWH) Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Health Team as a Business Support Administrator. Based within Hampshire MASH and providing remote support to Children's MASH across Portsmouth, Southampton and the IOW you will play a key role in supporting safeguarding activity and ensuring service delivery.

Working in a fast-paced, multi-agency environment, you will provide high-quality administrative and business support to MASH Health Nurses, helping to coordinate, manage and share information that supports timely safeguarding decisions. The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in line with safeguarding and data protection requirements.

This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to safeguarding services while working within a dedicated, supportive multidisciplinary team committed to improving the wellbeing and safety of vulnerable children and families.

Main duties of the job

Provide comprehensive administrative and business support to the MASH Health Team.

Process, record and maintain safeguarding information accurately and efficiently.

Support the coordination and sharing of information with partner agencies to facilitate timely safeguarding decisions.

Manage electronic records, databases and correspondence in line with Trust policies.

Ensure sensitive and confidential information is handled securely and appropriately.

Assist with prioritising tasks within a busy environment.

Support service reporting, data collection and performance monitoring activities.

Work both independently and effectively within a team

Work under pressure, flexibly and to deadlines

Be self-motivated

Be methodical and well organised.
