Maintenance Craftsman Multi-Skilled (electrical biased)NHS
Job summary
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrically biased Craftsperson with a working background in electrical maintenance to join the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust Estates team.
The Alex Estates team are a friendly team; our objective is ensuring the hospital is fit for purpose from an Estates perspective ensuring patients have a safe environment to be cared for in.
For this post, we require the successful candidate to be experienced in the installation, operation, maintenance and repair of low voltage electrical plant and distribution systems, ideally (but not essentially) in a hospital environment. It will be advantageous if you have completed a recognised electrical installation/maintenance apprenticeship, though we will provide training for the right candidate. This might be someone who has experience in an electrical role but doesn't have the necessary qualifications listed in the person specification.
Our Trust offers a generous annual leave entitlement of 27 days per year rising to 29 days after 5 years service and then 33 after ten years service. We offer a generous pension scheme and various other staff benefits such as the cycle to work scheme.
This is an excellent opportunity for a can do individual with energy, drive and enthusiasm and we are very much looking forward to appointing a new Electrical Craftsperson to join our team and contribute to delivering the best service possible for patients and staff.
