Main duties of the job
This temporary, casual role at Barchester Healthcare in Pevensey offers a unique opportunity for qualified chefs interested in creating nutritious and well-balanced menus. As a Bank Chef, you will work with fresh seasonal food, enjoy the freedom of flexible working hours, and deliver restaurant-quality dining without the typical long shifts. In addition to assisting the Head Chef, you will engage with residents to tailor meals to their preferences. NEED TO HAVE
A personable and warm approach with a genuine interest in the wellbeing of residents Hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent Experience in helping lead and inspire a team A good understanding of nutrition Experience of working with fresh seasonal food The ability to create a warm and welcoming environment within our home Good understanding of HACCP
