Job summary
The Digital Project Manager will join a team of Project Managers within the Digital department focused on delivery of digital products that improve care and the capabilities of the Trust.
There are two posts available, one working 37.5 hours per week (full time) and one working 22.5 hours per week (part time).
The Digital Project Manager will lead and manage a range of complex technical projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high-quality standard. They will develop and maintain project plans, including detailed schedules, budgets, and resource plans, and work with stakeholders to define project requirements and scope.
The Digital Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, including both technical and non-technical staff, to achieve project goals and manage project budgets and resource allocation, providing regular reports on project progress and financial performance.
This role is part of a newly created team and the Digital Project Manager will have the opportunity to contribute to the improvement of project management practices and processes.
With digital solutions as a key component of the NHS 10-year plan, it is essential to embed 'digital-first' thinking throughout the Trust. The Digital Project Manager will bring clinical and corporate colleagues on the digital journey. They will need to be confident in building and maintaining positive working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels of the organisation.

Main duties of the job
- Provide end to end project management from initial stakeholder engagement and business case development through to service transition and benefits realisation.
- Build relationships and effective lines of communication with key stakeholders at all levels
- Work with user groups and project teams, motivating, mediating and communicating across the trust and creating a user-centered approach to projects
- Produce and maintain project documentation, including plans, deliverables, risk and issue registers, highlight reports, escalation reports, requirements and benefits realisation documentation
- Contribute to the improvement of project management practices and processes
