Job summary

We are looking for a Locum Doctor (General Practitioner with Aviation Medicine Qualification) to cover an assignment with the Ministry of Defence (MoD), at RAF Marham Medical Centre, in King's Lynn, Norfolk.

This is a locum role (22.5 hours per week) and the successful candidate will deliver an exceptional standard of care to the MoD service personnel.

Pay rates:

PAYE £63.11 (£56.31 + £6.80 holiday pay) per hour

Sole Trader - £72.58 per hour

Main duties of the job

  • Undertake Primary Healthcare (PHC) clinics for Military and entitled personnel.
  • Examinations and Occupational Health (OH) assessments within the locum doctors scope of experience and qualification.
  • To inform the local medical authority of any case that may affect a servicemans ability to undertake their duties.
  • To complete reports and documentation in accordance with MOD policy or the requirements of any other government department.
  • To attend individual management reviews or case conferences with Primary Healthcare (PHC) and/or line management as required.
