Main duties of the job
Youll play an important role in helping us become a data driven organisation, using information, technology and innovation to improve services and patient outcomes across our practice. This is a varied role offering exposure to multiple areas of primary care, including:
- Data analysis and reporting
- Quality improvement and performance monitoring
- Digital systems support and development
- Website, social media and communications
- Project and operational support
- Patient engagement
Experience within the NHS or primary care is welcome but not essential. We are keen to hear from applicants who demonstrate strong transferable skills and a willingness to learn.
Job description

The Data, Quality and Engagement Coordinator will support the practice's ambition to become a data-driven organisation delivering outstanding patient care through the effective use of data, quality improvement, digital technology and patient engagement.
The post holder will be responsible for collecting, analysing and interpreting data to support service delivery, patient engagement, and maintaining and developing digital systems. They will develop a strong understanding of Quality Outcomes Framework (QOF) indicators, Local Enhanced Services (LES) requirements, and Investment and Impact Fund (IIF) indicators.
The role offers a varied and rewarding opportunity to gain experience across multiple areas of primary care including:

The post holder will ensure that practice systems, processes and communications are effective, accessible and patient-centred while contributing to the achievement of contractual, operational and quality objectives.
About us
We are a 2-site, part-dispensing practice in Kendal with over 17,000 patients, keen to attract caring, motivated, and passionate colleagues. We are a training practice with an active frailty and care home support team. We offer a wide range of enhanced services including minor surgery, women's health and menopause, coil/implant fitting, as well as Dermatology and ENT GPwER clinics.
We strive for a good work / life balance while achieving high-quality patient care and offer a fair allocation of work across all the GP team. We have a Quality Improvement culture, and continually develop our systems to respond to the changing environment of primary care, aiming to minimise administration workload and maximise job satisfaction to the benefit of our patients and our team.
