An exciting six-month fixed-term or secondment opportunity has arisen within our Women, Cardiac, Clinical Support and Sexual Health Services People and Organisational Development team, following internal movement within the team. This is an excellent time to join one of the Trust's largest and most dynamic clinical divisions.

We are offering this role with flexibility in mind. Whether you are an experienced Band 6 Senior HR Advisor ready to progress into a Band 7 Employee Relations Specialist role, or an HR professional looking to broaden your generalist experience through a Senior HR Advisor opportunity, we would love to hear from you.

Main duties of the job

You will deliver a compassionate, high-quality HR service focused on employee relations, reducing sickness absence and strengthening managers 'capability.

This is a hands-on, operational role with a strong focus on:

  • Leading and managing a varied employee relations caseload, primarily focused on sickness absence, alongside misconduct, grievances and appeals, including complex and sensitive cases
  • Driving reductions in sickness absence through proactive case management, with a particular focus on long-term absence, frequent short-term absence and areas with persistently high absence levels
