We are looking to recruit ODPs / Registered Nurses to join our friendly and dedicated theatre team.

Excellent opportunity for practitioners, passionate about delivering safe, high-quality perioperative care and who enjoy working as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team.

Applications welcome from experienced practitioners, as well as students graduating in 2026 who are looking to begin their Theatres' career. Relevant Theatre experience desirable, although we are also keen to hear from those who demonstrate the right values, willingness to learn, and commitment to developing their perioperative skills.
Anaesthetic qualification and / or Anaesthetic experience is desirable.

Our Clinical Educator, Team Leads, Speciality Managers and Matron work together to provide guidance, learning opportunities and support for career progression across the Operating Department.
As an ODP / Nurse, you will support the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate care throughout the patients' perioperative journey.

Main duties of the job
Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care, while maintaining high standards of safety, dignity and professionalism. Depending on your skills, experience and area of work, to undertake duties as a scrub, anaesthetic and/or recovery practitioner, supporting patients before, during and after surgical procedures.
Working closely with surgeons, Anaesthetists, Support Workers and wider multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive efficient, high-quality care in safe environment.
Key elements include:
Preparing Theatre environment, equipment and instrumentation for surgical procedures.
Acting as scrub, anaesthetic or recovery practitioner in-line with your skills/competencies.
Supporting safe patient care throughout peri-op pathway.
Working effectively as part of multidisciplinary team.
Maintaining accurate records and following Policies, procedures and safety standards.
Supporting smooth running of elective and emergency theatre activity.
Taking part in ongoing learning, competency development and service improvement.
Theatres is a 24-hour service and staff work flexibly across rosters. Requires participation in shift patterns, on-call and cross-site working.
You will need excellent comms, organisational and time-management skills, along with calm and professional approach in busy clinical environments. Should be compassionate, reliable and committed to delivering high standards of care.
