An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Operational Services Manager to join the Maternity, Neonatal and Gynaecology Directorate.

As a junior manager you will work as part of the operational management team performing day to day operational tasks within the Directorate to deliver continually improving high quality patient care andwill work closely with the Operational Services Manager to drive improvement through fresh perspectives and structured development.

Team building skills are imperative, as is the needs to be self motivated with the ability to use your own initiative as when this is necessary.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be required to assist the Directorate Management Team in the efficient and effective operational management of resources within the Directorate & Service Lines in order to deliver continually improving high quality patient care within the resources available.It may be necessary to deputise for the Operational Services Manager when necessary.The post holder will need to assist and where appropriate lead Divisional projects, providing regular update reports on the progress of work and additionally be able to work flexibly in order to deliver the Directorate agenda and to offer support to other colleagues including cover in times of absenceIt may also be necessary for the post holder to provide general administrative support to the Division, ensuring in particular that supporting services are delivered effectively in the interests of patient care.
