This is a rewarding and varied role where you'll provide high-quality business support across one of our support service functions, while coordinating and supervising a team of Business Support Officers. You'll work closely with managers, colleagues, Primary Care Networks, GP practices, and other stakeholders across the healthcare system, helping to ensure services are delivered efficiently and professionally.
As a Business Support Coordinator, you'll oversee administrative processes, coordinate workloads, support the development of team members, manage enquiries, produce reports and documentation, and help identify opportunities for service improvement. You'll use your judgement, organisational skills, and customer-focused approach to provide practical solutions and support across the organisation.

Job description
Job Purpose
The role holder will provide a business support function to a specific part of the support services team (PCN and GP support) and will directly supervise a team of business support officers, also providing cover across other functions when required. The role holder will be required to organise their own workload following regular weekly activities alongside tasks which require more planning and prioritising, and which may involve an element of project work and/or coordinating activities involving a number of people. The role holder will be expected to spend a significant element of the role in providing tailored advice, guidance and support to service users, interpreting written information and using their judgement to work out appropriate solutions to issues encountered.
