Job summary
As a Clinical Educator, you will work as part of the psychological professions training team atSussex University, supporting the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based education and clinicaltraining for Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHP's). You will combine clinical expertisewith educational practice to ensure trainees develop the knowledge, skills, and professionalbehaviours required for safe and effective practice.
Main duties of the job
You will contribute to the design, delivery and evaluation of teaching and learning activities,including skills-based teaching, clinical simulations, and applied academic content. You willsupport trainees' development across academic, clinical and professional domains, includingthe integration of theory into practice.
The post holder will work collaboratively with academic staff, clinical supervisors and servicepartners to ensure that training remains aligned with national curricula, service priorities andprofessional standards. You will provide mentorship, teaching and clinical guidance to trainees,supporting their progression and competence within a structured training programme.
