THIS IS A PERMANENT, FULL-TIME POSITION.
We are looking to appoint a Clinical Technologist/Senior Radiographer to provide clinical leadership within the Nuclear Medicine Department at Morriston Hospital in Swansea. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Diagnostic Radiographer with current HCPC registration or a Clinical Technologist with current RCT registration and with documented experience.
The suitable candidate will be expected to provide expert support within the SPECT-CT imaging with state-of-the art gamma-camera with CT diagnostic capability. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing training, guidance and supervision to junior staff and students.
Main duties of the job
The department of Nuclear Medicine at the Morriston Hospital is a busy imaging department operating a diagnostic state-of-the-art SPECT/CT camera .
The Radiographer will be expected to provide technical support across the full range of Nuclear Medicine Services. Therefore the successful candidate must have proven NM experience and training. CT training is desirable.
The ability to work flexibly to the needs of the service is essential for this post.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this job; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
