Main duties of the job
Salaried GP (Permanent)
We are seeking a Salaried GP to join Dean Medical Practice (Blakeney Surgery), part of G DOC Ltd, within a supportive and innovative primary care organisation.
Key Information
- 6 sessions per week (Monday, Tuesday and Friday)
- 15-minute face-to-face appointments
- 12 patients per session
- Generous protected admin time
- Based at Blakeney Surgery, Forest of Dean, with flexibility to work across our Coleford branch
- £53.51 per hour (£13,912 per session based on a 5-hour session)
The Role You will provide high-quality, evidence-based care, work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, support service development and preventative healthcare initiatives, and maintain excellent clinical standards and patient experience.

Job description
Primary care clinician duties, including (but not limited to) face to face consultations, video consultations, telephone consultations, e-consultations and queries. Also, home visits, duty doctor/on-call responsibilities, clinical administration, prescribing, and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion. Acting as Named GP for a share of registered patients proportionate to contracted hours.
Complying with the General Medical Councils Good Medical Practice and other standards for doctors
