Job summary

Cygnet Group are currently looking for a confident Senior Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care to join our team at Cygnet Meadow Mews. You will be expected to work 42 hours a week (days, night shifts and alternative weekends), making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care. The Service: Meadows Mews is an enhanced community residential service for men with neuropsychiatric or neurodegenerative conditions, who may have behaviours that challenge alongside additional social and complex needs. Meadows Mews acts as a transitional service from inpatient rehabilitation for those individuals who have been able to progress through the hospital pathway but now require the ability to return to the community; where participation in both social and domestic activities is vital for their quality of life and long term future in the community.

The Service:

Your Day-to-Day

  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach to all individuals in our care
  • Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
  • Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
  • Assist with medical & welfare needs & report as required
  • Support management in the day-to-day running of the service
  • Undertake supervisory & administrative responsibilities
  • Sa feguard
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for all.
