PCN Management Assistant
Reports to PCN Manager
This is a fixed -term contract (six months - with the potential for this to become permanent based on confirmation of future NHS plans) , 15 hours per week. The salary of £5,600 is based on an annual whole-time equivalent £28,000.
Job Purpose
The PCN Management Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative, and operational support to the PCN Manager and wider Primary Care Network team. The post holder will support the effective delivery of PCN priorities, contractual requirements, workforce initiatives, service developments and stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the Primary Care Network.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the PCN Manager and PCN leadership team.
Support delivery of PCN contractual requirements and service specifications.
Assist with ARRS workforce administration, recruitment, onboarding and workforce reporting.
Support budget monitoring, invoice processing and financial record keeping.
Maintain governance documentation, policies and compliance records.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with member practices and system partners.
Ensure compliance with GDPR, confidentiality and information governance requirements.
Administrative Support
Provide correspondence management, document control, filing systems, rotas for PCN services, general office administration to support efficient PCN operations.
Workforce and HR Support
Support recruitment, onboarding, induction, training and appraisal records, workforce data management and ARRS workforce administration activities.
Assist in maintaining expenditure records and supporting contract monitoring activities.
About us
Our five Practices have a total registered patient list size of 49,000. The Primary Care Network Manager supports the Clinical Director in delivering the requirements of the Primary Care Network DES. We employ a wide range of PCN staff - First Contact Physiotherapists, Clinical Pharmacists, Paramedics, GP Assistants, Social Prescribers, Pharmacy Technicians.
