Job description
In this role, you will manage a diverse and wide-ranging caseload of dermatological conditions. You will have the clinical autonomy to work independently, providing top tier specialist care in a supportive, community-focused environment. Day to day, the post holder will deliver high quality clinical care to patients attending the community ophthalmology service in the following areas: Assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of dermatological conditions Utilise dermoscopy to examine and monitor skin lesions Perform minor surgical procedures including excisions of cysts, moles, skin tags, warts, and lipomas Educate and counsel patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventative skin care Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and clinical documentation in line with GMC guidelines We warmly welcome applications from both Consultant Dermatologists and Associate Specialist Dermatology Doctors.
