Job summary

The Care Assistant will play a key role within Jewish Cares care team at Sugar Family Care Home, supporting residents throughout the night to live with dignity, independence, and wellbeing. Working on a two-week rolling rota of four night shifts followed by three night shifts, with 12-hour shifts from 8pm to 8am, the postholder will provide person-centred care and support tailored to each residents individual needs. The role involves supporting residents with personal care and daily routines, providing companionship and emotional support, encouraging independence and choice, and helping residents feel safe, respected, and valued throughout the night. We are looking for a kind, compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to join our team at Sugar Family Care Home. Working nights on a two-week rolling rota, you will support residents with their personal care, daily routines, wellbeing and emotional needs, helping them feel safe and comfortable throughout the night. You dont need previous care experience as full training and ongoing support will be provided. What matters most is your positive attitude, willingness to learn, ability to work as part of a team, and genuine desire to support older people to live with dignity, independence and choice.
