Job summary

You'll support people with communication and swallowing needs, helping them live more independently. You'll work as part of a skilled speech and language therapy team delivering care across a range of community settings. This includes multi-disciplinary stroke services, clinics, home visits and a specialist outpatient videofluoroscopy service. Your work will make a real difference to people recovering from illness or living with long-term conditions. Main duties of the job

What you'll do:

  • Provide adult speech and language therapy across community and clinic settings
  • Support people with dysphagia and communication needs
  • Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including stroke services
  • Deliver care through clinics, home visits and specialist outpatient services
  • Contribute to person-centred care plans and ongoing support

What we're looking for:

  • A qualified Speech and Language Therapist, or working towards registration
  • Interest or experience in dysphagia and communication support
  • Willingness to learn across areas such as stroke, frailty and neurodegenerative conditions
  • Ability to work well in a team and across different settings
  • A commitment to ongoing learning, with support from senior clinicians
