Job summary

Within the role of SACT nurse within the Cancer centre, you will be working as a part of the wider team to safely deliver Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, targeted treatment and supportive treatments for Cancer patients.

Main duties of the job

  • Safely deliver SACT & supportive cancer treatments
  • Perform clinical actives such as venepuncture, cannulation & access central lines
  • assess & interpret, acute and other patient conditions, initiate actions as appropriate
  • Communicate, professionally , clear and concise with patients & their relatives
  • Use electronic prescribing systems
  • Take responsibility for concise documentation
